What does it mean to connect to the Divine within? How will connecting to the Divine enhance our lives?
Connecting to the Divine within is in essence remembering the purest aspect of who we are, and the Source of all–God. There is a divine spiritual spark within each and every one of us; and we are accompanied by the Oversoul or the Holy Spirit. Our divine nature reflects that of the Supreme Being. We all have the same spiritual qualities and so are “one” with God. This sense of “oneness” does not negate our unique individuality. Individuality is intrinsic to our nature. Because of our individual nature we can reciprocate love with one another. Perennial wisdom teaches that our true nature is based on love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, etc. These are genuine spiritual qualities. The more we connect to divine energy, the more loving, kind, compassionate, etc. we become. How will this enhance our lives? When we express the genuine qualities of the soul, we experience a deep sense of fulfillment and joy. And when we remember who we really are, we can tap into our innate potential, connect to our true life purpose, and live our lives to the fullest.

For those of you who don’t already know Jahnavi, I’d like to say that she is one of the most sincere and knowledgeable spiritual leaders to have come around in a long while. She understands the ‘spirit’ part of what it means to be spiritual by cutting through religious dogma. With this one little book, she gives us back to ourselves and to whatever or whoever God is to us in a deeply personal way. She reminds me that God is alive and that if we’d let it happen, ‘God’ would like to have a conversation with each and every one of us. More than that, she demonstrates how she does it by blessing us with this wonderful little page-turner book of hers. I’m not sure Jahnavi would agree but to me, this book was a very real conversation that Jahnavi had with God about life, love and the pursuit of happiness. At less than 150 pages, Divine Love is sublime, approachable, realistic and if the principles in it are followed, they will change yours and everyone’s life around you in profoundly incredible ways. It certainly has worked for me.
